My husband, our daughter and I all live on an Army base because my husband is brave enough to serve and have served with the Army stateside and overseas in Iraq.  I empathize with veterans who were not supported by our government and were turned away when they had potential PTSD and/or other serious medical or psychological problems that they themselves could not handle on their own.  There is really only so much we can do as civilians and non-political figures for these veterans.. But for a politician or someone in the media with as much impact as you, sir, to be claiming that there are “no” homeless veterans needing our help — THAT is immensely unfortunate and almost pathetic.  Please conduct adequate research before jumping to such an extreme and clearly invalid assumption, especially while on the air.”
