First Day at GymKix
I seriously had an awesome first day. Everyone there is so nice and sweet! The girl I’m replacing is so awesome and fun.. It’s so sad that she won’t be there anymore!! We have a lot in common (we both did dance and then played drums in band.. how crazy is that?) and we really bonded, so it makes me sad that she’ll be gone by the end of the month
My favorite class of the day was the gymnastics class. It brings back awesome memories! We did floor and beam today, and the kids were amazing and really warmed up to me quickly (which helped a lot!). I was spotting them on their cartwheels and jumps and things. It was totally cool. I can’t wait until we’re working more on the bars and the trampoline.. Those used to be my favorite.
I’m picking up ballet and tap really quickly, so I’m excited! I was totally unprepared today without shoes or proper clothes, though.. but it all worked out in the end. It’s all good! I ordered my shoes and had them express mailed so I should have them in time for Monday’s classes (tomorrow is the last day of the work week). I had a great day overall. And I’m looking forward to the rest of my training!
