“In the Lost Mobisode “So It Begins,” Christian Shephard tells Vincent to wake up Jack because he has work to do. Jack is quite a distance from the crash site and it doesn’t seem likely that he was thrown that far without being killed from the fall or from hitting the tree branches. It is almost like Jack was put there or Jack appeared there from somewhere else or some other time. The way that his pupils dilate the opposite way, it is almost as if he is coming back, mentally, from some other place. That he was in a place of enlightenment in a way and now it is dark again and he has to start all over. For those who have seen it, it is similar to the movie Run Lola Run, in which the characters die, only to start again and have another chance. The way he holds the liquor bottle, it seems he is reminding himself what time he is supposed to be in. Also the way he runs with such a mission to the beach, it’s almost as if he knows or has an instinct as to what is going to occur! . His tattoo that says, “He walks amongst us, but he is not one of us,” makes sense with this theory.“
