I HATE THIS PRODUCT.

So we used to be a strictly-Cascade family. Then, while shopping at the Dollar Store for some bleach, I thought I’d get some more dishwashing liquid. Well right next to our trusty regular Cascade brand was this Citrus Apple Splash Palmolive eco+ phosphate-free “cleans to a sparkling shine” Gel Dishwashing Detergent.

I don’t know if it was the white bottle or the sliced green apples or the huge, bold word “eco” on the cover that sold me. But I figured, “Hey.. I like the environment. Maybe spending $0.10 more on this eco-friendly brand (and hey, it’s Palmolive) will change the world.”



Yeah, if “changing the world” actually means getting none of the crusty stuff off my dishes, leaving white residue over everything (glass and non-glass), forcing me to do the most disgusting chore I hate to do (washing dirty dishes), then YES… this product definitely is the #1 product for CHANGING MY FRIGGIN WORLD.
